No specific qualifications are required to work as a veterinary receptionist, animal assistant or kennel staff. However these positions require a defined skill set, and Canada Locum will only consider experienced (2 years or more) individuals to fill a short term need. Unfortunately there is little time for on the job training for short term employment.
For permanent or part time positions less experience may be acceptable to the employer, this is on a case by case basis.
